The truth is, since its conception the enemy has tried to infiltrate and distort ‘the way’ from, Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5), to Simon the sorcerer (Acts 8), to the possessed slave girl in Acts 16, to the seven sons of Sceva (Acts 19), and beyond, there have been those who have desired the benefits of the faith without submitting to the process of being formed and transformed by true faith in Jesus Christ.

Sadly today we see that mainstream Christianity is often a distorted representation of ‘the faith once delivered’ and in order to stand in these perilous times we must return, embrace and CONTEND for the faith once delivered to all the saints.

We believe that we have brought together a selection of speakers that are relevant, relational and able to speak clearly to some of the issues of this age and present us with some tools to CONTEND, not just during but beyond this conference. I’m looking forward to hearing and being transformed by the word that will be delivered from our amazing speakers along with the artistry of our creative ministries as they minister through drama, dance, spoken word, singing, rap and various other expressions.

For those with little ones under 13, we have CONTEND Kids, delivered by the NTCG Kids team. This will provide amazing and engaging children’s ministry throughout the weekend.

I’m also excited about our after hours provision that will seek to intentionally bring people together to enjoy music, discussion, fun and fellowship. Our prayer is that life-long Godly relationships will grow from these sessions.
